3 countries propose rating system on tuna conservation bodies

KOBE, Japan - Participants hold the second-day session of a meeting of five tuna resource management bodies in Kobe on Jan. 23 to manage tuna stocks, which are rapidly declining due to overfishing. Japan, Australia and the United States have proposed a system to evaluate the performance of the five tuna resource management bodies based on common criteria.
