World's oldest person dies, Japanese woman becomes oldest
TOKYO, Japan - Yone Minagawa blew out candles on a birthday cake at a Fukuoka Prefecture nursing home Jan. 4 as she celebrated her 114th birthday. Ninagawa is now believed to be the world's oldest person after Emma Faust Tillman died Jan. 28 at a nursing home in Connecticut aged 114.
