Court dismisses state damages to war-displaced Japanese

TOKYO, Japan - A group of war-displaced Japanese nationals march toward the Tokyo District Court on Jan. 30 to hear the verdict on a demand from 40 war-displaced Japanese for compensation from the state for failing after World War II to swiftly repatriate them from China and provide adequate support once they returned. . The court rejected their demand.
