TSE, NYSE announce tie-up accord, eye cross-shareholdings

NEW YORK, United States - John Thain (L), chief executive officer of the New York Stock Exchange Group Inc., and Taizo Nishimuro, president of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, shake hands during a press conference in New York on Jan. 31.
