Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ ordered to suspend part of operations
TOKYO, Japan - Nobuo Kuroyanagi (C), president of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, and other bank executives bow in apology during a press conference in Tokyo on Feb. 15. The Financial Services Agency ordered the bank to suspend part of its lending operations for a week over earlier improper lending to a man who was recently convicted of embezzlement.
