Ex-U.S. negotiator urges N. Korea to take denuclearization steps

TOKYO, Japan - Wendy Sherman, a former U.S. policy coordinator on North Korea, speaks in a recent interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo. She has urged North Korea to take steps toward denuclearization in order to attain peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and thus ensure its own security.
