Common IC fare card Pasmo debuts for Tokyo trains, buses

TOKYO, Japan - A tape-cutting ceremony to mark the launch of the Pasmo card is held March 18 at Keio Corp.'s Shinjuku station in Tokyo, with JR and private railway executives attending. The new card can be used for most train, subway and bus lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
