Lake Toya resort in Hokkaido picked to host 2008 G-8 summit

SAPPORO, Japan - Toyako Town Mayor Yoshio Nagasaki speaks outside the Windsor Hotel Toya in his town on April 23. He welcomed Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's decision to hold the summit of the Group of Eight nations in 2008 in the Lake Toya hot-spring resort town in southern Hokkaido.
