Hiroshima court rejects war orphans' damages claim

HIROSHIMA, Japan - The Hiroshima District Court in session on April 25, rejecting a damages suit filed by 61 war-displaced Japanese nationals seeking compensation from the state for failing to swiftly repatriate them from China after World War II and provide adequate support once they returned to Japan.
