Asashoryu starts with victory in 15-day summer sumo

TOKYO, Japan - Mongolian grand champion Asashoryu (L) tossed down Toyonoshima, who injured his leg in pre-tournament practice against the yokozuna, on the first day of action at the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo on May 13.
