Chile apex court rules Fujimori should not be extradited to Peru

SANTIAGO, Chile - Former Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori, who is under house arrest in Chile, rejoices July 11 after Chile's Supreme Court decided earlier in the day that Fujimori should not be extradited to Peru. Fujimori, indicted in Peru on more than 20 counts of corruption and human rights violations, was arrested by Chilean police on Nov. 7, 2005.
