Year's 1st shipment of Beaujolais Nouveau arrives in Japan

TOKONAME, Japan - Customs officers inspect this year's first shipment of Beaujolais Nouveau at Chubu Centrair International Airport in Aichi Prefecture, on Nov. 9 for sale starting on Nov. 15. The young wine produced in the Beaujolais region is traditionally released for consumption on the third Thursday of November worldwide.
