Asashoryu arrives back in Japan full of remorse
TOKYO, Japan - Sumo grand champion Asashoryu (2nd from R), with his stablemaster Takasago (R), bows in a press conference in Tokyo on Nov. 30 in a gesture to apologize for playing soccer in Mongolia when he supposedly had injuries that allowed him to sit out a regional sumo tournament. He met the press after returning to Japan from his native Mongolia earlier in the day.
