Gov't again orders retailer Kojima to observe recycling law

TOKYO, Japan - Akitoshi Kojima (L), president of Kojima Co., receives an order from an official at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in Tokyo on Dec. 5 for the second time to mend its conduct and observe the recycling law after the home appliance store chain operator was found to have failed to transfer 76,745 used products to manufacturers after collecting them for recycling from consumers in numerous parts of the country.
