Kenyans go to polls in tight presidential election
NAIROBI, Kenya - President Mwai Kibaki, who is seeking reelection for a second term, smiles at his supporters during a political gathering in Nairobi on Dec. 24. Kenyans go to the polls on Dec. 27 to elect a president, members of parliament and local leaders in a general election tipped to be the closest race in the East African nation's history.
