TOKYO, Japan - A signboard at a securities company in Tokyo's Otemachi district shows the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average down 752.89 points from Jan. 21 to end at 12,573.05, its lowest closing level since Sept. 8, 2005, when it closed at 12,533.89.
