Rakuten to strengthen telecom business: Mikitani

TOKYO, Japan - Rakuten Inc. President Hiroshi Mikitani said in an interview with Kyodo News on Feb. 18 that Japan's top online shopping mall operator will strengthen its telecommunications business through an Internet protocol phone operator it acquired last year.
