Work begins to retrieve effects from Turkish warship

ISTANBUL, Turkey - Melike Aykut, 81, shows a picture of her grandfather Mehmet Ali Huseyin, who was a noncommissioned officer aboard the Ottoman Empire warship Ertugrul Firkateyni that sank off Wakayama Prefecture on Sept. 16, 1890, at her home in Istanbul on Jan. 28.
