China says demonstrators 'shameful,' confident about torch relay

BEIJING, China - Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said at a regular press conference in Beijing on March 25 that demonstrators who tried to disrupt the Olympic torch lighting ceremony in Greece the previous day were ''shameful,'' and expressed confidence the torch relay will be ''successful and smooth'' despite the incident.
