Popular DS, Wii games boost Nintendo's profit to record high

OSAKA, Japan - Nintendo Co. President Satoru Iwata told reporters in Osaka on April 24 that the company's group net profit surged 47.7 percent from the previous year to a record high of 257.34 billion yen in fiscal 2007 due to the strong popularity of its DS and Wii game consoles.
