Sumo: Kotooshu becomes 1st European to win Emperor's Cup
TOKYO, Japan - Bulgarin ozeki Kotooshu (back) forces down sekiwake Ama at the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament in Tokyo on May 24, clinching the tournament title with an unbeatable 13-1 record on the 14th day of the 15-day meet. Kotooshu, whose real name is Kaloyan Mahlyanov, is the first European wrestler to win an Emperor's Cup.
