Mongolian president declares emergency over violent protests
ULAN BATOR, Mongolia - Black smoke billows from the building housing the headquarters of the ruling Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party in Ulan Bator on July 1. Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar declared a four-day state of emergency after violent protests in the capital over alleged fraud in a weekend election.
