Emperor, empress visit job training center for elderly people

TOKYO, Japan - Emperor Akihito (C) and Empress Michiko (R) chat with a paper-screen worker during a visit to a job training center for elderly people in Mitaka, Tokyo on Sept. 19. In past years, the imperial couple mostly visited welfare facilities for elderly people around Respect of the Elderly Day (Sept. 15 this year).
