Hakuho downs Ama at autumn basho, Asashoryu drops out

TOKYO, Japan - Yokozuna Hakuho (L) muscles sekiwake Ama out of the ring in an all-Mongolian bout at the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament in Tokyo on Sept. 23 for a share of a two-way lead on Day 10 of the 15-day event at Ryogoku Kokugikan. Another Mongolian wrestler, yokozuna Asashoryu, who succumbed to Ama on Sept. 22, withdrew from the tournament earlier in the day, citing an injury to the left elbow he hurt during the Nagoya meet in July.
