Chinese delegation arrives in Taiwan for historic talks

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Chen Yunlin (L), China's top envoy for Taiwan, and Chiang Pin-kung, chairman of the Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) toast during a dinner in Taipei on Nov. 3. Earlier in the day, the highest-level Chinese delegation led by Chen to visit Taiwan in nearly 60 years arrived in Taipei for landmark talks amid a mixed reception ranging from fanfare to protests.
