Trees, objects in Sapporo's main downtown area lit up

SAPPORO, Japan - Trees and objects in Odori Park in Sapporo's main downtown district are lit up on Nov. 28 for an annual event called ''Sapporo White Illumination'' which marks the coming of the snow season in the capital city of Japan's northernmost prefecture of Hokkaido.
