Fuji Heavy to withdraw from FIA World Rally Championship

TOKYO, Japan - Ikuo Mori, president of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., bows at a press conference in Tokyo on Dec. 16 after announcing that the company will withdraw from the FIA World Rally Championship at the end of the 2008 season to boost its management efficiency amid shrinking global auto sales due to the worldwide economic downturn.
