2 cab drivers assaulted in Osaka

OSAKA, Japan - Police investigators examine the taxi of a driver who was assaulted by an unidentified man on a street in Takatsuki, Osaka Prefecture, in the early morning of Jan. 6. Another taxi driver was attacked by a purported temp worker, who was later arrested, in nearby Neyagawa the same day. The incidents followed two recent fatal taxi holdups in the prefecture.
