Mongolian grand champion Hakuho misses 4th straight title

TOKYO, Japan - Mongolian grand champion Hakuho (L) is dejected after being forced out of the ring by fellow Mongolian yokozuna Asashoryu during a championship playoff at the New Year Grand Sumo Tournament at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan on Jan. 25. Hakuho failed in his bid to secure a fourth straight title, while Asashoryu made a dramatic comeback after missing part or all of the previous three tournaments with an injured left elbow.
