Kobe Steel head to resign over improper donations

                      Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced on October 9 that Hiroto Nishikawa, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), will resign on October 16, and Yasuhiro Yamauchi, Chief Operating Officer (COO), will take over as President and CEO on the same day. At a press conference on the same day, Mr. Yasushi Kimura, Chairman of Nissan's Board of Directors, said, "It is essential to make sure that governance is effective under the new system.
