Pioneer to cut 10,000 jobs globally

TOKYO, Japan - Pioneer Corp. President Susumu Kotani briefs reporters about the company's plan to withdraw from the flat-panel TV business and to cut a total of 10,000 jobs worldwide during a press conference at a hotel in Tokyo on Feb. 12.
