Wrong fertilized egg believed to have been implanted in woman
TAKAMATSU, Japan - Yuzo Matsumoto (L), head of the Kagawa Prefectural Central Hospital, bows in apology during a press conference in Takamatsu on Feb. 19. The hospital implanted a fertilized egg believed to have been from another patient in a woman last September but the pregnancy was terminated nine weeks later at the hospital after the facility told the woman about the mistake.
