Consultancy in tax evasion manages property of Canon's Mitarai

OITA, Japan - Photo taken Feb. 24 shows a plot of land owned by Canon Inc. Chairman Fujio Mitarai now used as a parking lot. Oita-based consultancy Daiko, at the center of a massive tax evasion case connected with construction work for Canon Inc., has been managing the property, sources familiar with the matter said the same day.
