Oscar-winning director Kato returns home

TOKYO, Japan - Kunio Kato kisses the Oscar he won for best animated short film at the 81st Annual Academy Awards during a news conference in Tokyo on Feb. 25 after returning home following the award ceremony in Los Angeles. He won the prize for the film ''Tsumiki no Ie'' (The House of Small Cubes).
