Recovered Colonel Sanders statue returned to KFC

OSAKA, Japan - Kentucky Fried Chicken Japan Ltd. President Masao Watanabe puts a pair of new glasses on a battered statue of KFC founder Colonel Sanders at the Osaka city government office on March 13. The statue was returned to the company for the first time since it was thrown into a river in the city 24 years ago by crazed fans of the baseball club Hanshin Tigers.
