Aeon, Suntory to launch 100-yen beer-like drink in July
TOKYO, Japan - Kunihiko Hisaki, an executive of supermarket chain operator Aeon Co., shows off cans of private brand beer-like drinks, which were co-developed with Suntory Liquors Ltd., during a press conference in Tokyo on June 29. Aeon, the operator of Jusco and MaxValu supermarket stores, will sell the drink for 100 yen, about 20 percent lower than similar drinks produced by major brewers.
