Akita's sake captures top prize in Int'l Wine Challenge

LONDON, Britain - Takashi Sasaki, president of Kinmon Akita Shuzo Co., a Japanese sake manufacture in Akita Prefecture, holds up the ''Champion Sake'' trophy given to his company's ''Yamabuki 1995'' brand at the International Wine Challenge in London on Sept. 2. Yamabuki was selected for the top prize in the competition's Japanese sake section from among 359 brands presented there.
