Sanyo to recall 280,000 units of washer-dryer again

OSAKA, Japan - File photo shows one of nine models of a washer-dryer that Sanyo Electric Co. announced it is recalling again on Sept. 18, 2009, saying the repair work done upon their previous recall was insufficient. The company said some 280,000 units in the nine models will be recalled.

TEPCO seeks to restart idled nuclear reactors

TEPCO transfers radioactive water to reliable container
