Taiwanese islanders say no to casinos in key referendum

PENGHU COUNTY, Taiwan - A man on Taiwan's outlying island of Penghu casts his vote in a key referendum to decide whether to build world-class casinos on the island. The island voted against, all but quashing a more than decade-long bid to revive the island with gaming and to join the wave of casino development across Asia.
