Toyota to withdraw from Formula 1
NAGOYA, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. President Akio Toyoda (R) is seen visiting the pit for a Toyota team in Formula One's Japanese Grand Prix at the Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture on Oct. 4, 2009. Toyoda, who is himself a motorcar racer with an international C-class license, announced Nov. 4 that his company will withdraw from Formula One at the end of the current season.
