Roos reiterates Futemma issue should be resolved 'expeditiously'

TOKYO, Japan - U.S. Ambassador to Japan John Roos gives a speech at a hotel in Tokyo on Dec. 4, 2009. Ross reiterated that the issue of a U.S. military base in Okinawa Prefecture should be resolved ''expeditiously,'' but declined to comment on how Japan's decision to continue discussions even after next year would affect the bilateral relationship.
