Kyocera founder Inamori accepts offer to run Japan Airlines

TOKYO, Japan - Kazuo Inamori (C), honorary chairman and founder of electronics firm Kyocera Corp., heads to the transport ministry in Tokyo on Jan. 13, 2010. The 77-year-old executive said he accepted the offer from the government to assume the post of chief executive officer without pay at Japan Airlines Corp. that is undergoing state-backed restructuring efforts.
