Cherry blossoms come out in Kochi, earliest on Japan's main islands
KOCHI, Japan - Cherry blossoms start to bloom in the western city of Kochi on March 10, 2010. The Japan Meteorological Agency said signs of the full-blown spring season were observed in Japan when the blossoms bloomed in the city coming out the earliest in any location other than Okinawa and nearby southern islands.
