Ibaraki Airport opens with only 1 regular daily flight to Seoul

OMITAMA, Japan - A tape-cutting ceremony is held at Ibaraki Airport in Komitama, Ibaraki Prefecture, on March 11, 2010, to mark its opening. The airport opened as the third one in the Tokyo metropolitan area, with a daily flight to and from Seoul by South Korea's Asiana Airlines serving as the only regular flight at the initial stage.
