NEC to invest 15 bil. yen on cloud computing services by FY 2012

TOKYO, Japan - Nobuhiro Endo, senior vice president of NEC Corp., speaks during a recent interview with Kyodo News in Tokyo. Endo, 56, who will be appointed company president on April 1, 2010, said NEC will invest around 15 billion yen to enhance data centers for cloud computing over a three-year period as it embarks on an ambitious goal for a tenfold increase in net profit by fiscal 2012.
