New recruits mark 1st day of work as Toyota, JAL vow fresh start

TOYOTA, Japan - Some 1,250 new recruits of Toyota Motor Corp. attend an initiation ceremony at the company's headquarters in the city of Toyota, Aichi Prefecture, on April 1, 2010. An estimated 760,000 new recruits marked their first day of work across Japan the same day.

Finally, after 27 years from the start of construction, the Bushehr nuclear power plant became fully operational and connected to the national electricity grid in 2011, making it Iran's first and only active nuclear power plant.
