Chunichi's Valdez marks 1st win in Japan

TOKYO, Japan - Edward Valdez, a rookie pitcher for the Chunichi Dragons from the Dominican Republic, kisses a ball after earning the first win of his career in Japan at Jingu Stadium in Tokyo on April 1, 2010. Valdez, who started the game, gave up two runs in five innings in a 5-2 victory.
