Tesla begins shipping electric vehicle Roadsters to Japan

LOS ANGELES, United States - Tesla Roadsters, highway-capable electric vehicles made by Silicon Valley-based Tesla Motors Inc., are shown to the media at Port Hueneme, California, on April 21, 2010, before being shipped to Japan. A dozen Tesla Roadsters will arrive in Japan in early May for delivery to select customers.
