Tokyo stocks slide on strong yen
TOKYO, Japan - An electronic board at Tokyo's Marunouchi business district shows the Nikkei Stock Average slide to 9,141.02, and the U.S. dollar trading at the lower 85 yen level, at one point during the morning of Aug. 12, 2010. Tokyo stocks tumbled as a result of a strong yen that climbed to a 15-year high in the currency market.
