12 pet dogs abandoned on Okayama mountain

OKAYAMA, Japan - Twelve small dogs are temporarily kept at an Okayama prefectural humane society on Aug. 23, 2010, after they were found on a mountain in Okayama Prefecture. A woman living near the mountain reported to police earlier in the day that the dogs, including toy poodles, Pekingese, Pomeranians and other pet dogs, were abandoned on the mountain.
